Developing Regional Innovation System
The project envisages establishing and development of cooperation network between technology and innovation contractors – universities and private companies to enhance regional competitiveness and innovation. The key elements of the network are Local Technology Transfer and Innovation Centers (LOTTI) and industrial clusters.
LOTTI centers created at the universities and in business support organizations is identifying SMEs technological needs, collecting data and transferring the information to research institutions and researchers.
Chemical industry in Poland is one of the most important branch of processing industry. Branch includes industry of organic and inorganic chemistry.
Chemical industry is dominated by functioning of several big companies, which create a group of, so called, “big chemical synthesis”.
Because of using old technologies, lack of funds for researches and many years of

delay in realization of recreating investments, condition of Polish chemical sector is not optimal. Quality of products is insufficient, there is a lack of processing powers, so some part of products have to be imported.
We encourage you to change that situation, together with Szczecin Technical University’ International Programmes Office. We wish that one of the best branch of our industry increase its competition level through easy transfer of innovative services, technologies and products from R&D sector to companies.
You are welcome to create our chemical website, but we also deliver to your disposal information about potential of science units, which services, technologies and products can be used in economy.
We would like to invite scientists and institutions connected with sciences to present their R&D offers on our website.
We also would like to invite entrepreneurs – owners of companies in our West Pomerania voivodship, who are looking for innovative solutions, and are interested in implementing results of researches or buying new services of R&D sector, to common realization of these aims.
