Environmentally friendly additives for control of scale deposition and corrosion processes in industrial water streams (Ref: 07 GR IHET 0J0S)
A Greek university research group is involved in the design, synthesis, application and development of environmentally friendly (“green”) additives that can inhibit scale deposition or corrosion in industrial water systems or improve the cleaning capacity of cleaning formulations. The group also offers consulting services to industrial clients on scaling or corrosion problems. The group is interested in a technical cooperation or know-how licensing scheme.

Innovative technology for silicon low cost production for photovoltaic use (Ref: 07 IT LAAP 0IWI)
A new Italian SME working in photovoltaic field proposes a new technique for the silicon production. This method, using a Plasmatron system, favours production of the raw material at lower cost and with reduced impurity levels while necessitating a lower quantity of energy. The technology is in the development phase, and the first experiments have been done. The company are looking for industrial partners, venture capitalists and technological partners to enter the next project phase.

A novel process to transform benzene to phenol (Ref: 07 IT MESP 0IS4)
A research group of an Italian university has developed an innovative method to transform benzene into phenol by a direct oxidation reaction carried out in liquid phase. The method allows reducing the production costs, risks and the environmental impact. The researchers are looking for partners for a license agreement.

Products made of rubber granulate from worn car tyres, bound by liquid rubber (Ref: 07 CZ CZBP 0J41)
A Czech company with experience in the field of development of plastic and rubber products has developed an innovative elastic composite material made of rubber granulate bound with poly butadiene-polyurethane binder, and manufactures environmentally friendly products made of this material. These products have an excellent suppressing capability for vibration and noise transfer. The company is looking for partners from industry interested in commercial agreement with technical assistance.
